DARK REVERIES, an independent short film by Jack Reilly

SYNOPSIS: DARK REVERIES is a short story presented in Film Noir style. Psychiatrist Michael Hosford experiences uncontrollable visions during therapy sessions with his clients. In an attempt to rid himself of this nightmarish affliction, he enters into psychotherapy with his colleague Dr. Marilyn Baxter. A horrific surprise is revealed when he realizes that his Dr. Baxter also suffers from dark reveries of her own.

  • Dr. Michael Hosford, a distinguished psychoanalyst in dire need of psychotherapy.
  • Helen, a woman deeply perplexed by her odd relationships with her husband and father.
  • William Patterson, an angry substance abuser and all-around looser.
  • Carrie, a reluctantly recovering rock-n-roll groupie.
  • Dr. Marilyn Baxter, a psychiatrist with severe psychological problems.
