| During
the 1990s, Jack Reilly's abstract paintings grew in complexity as
his shaped-canvas structures took on radical geometric configurations
and the color bands became far more gestural and amorphic. In these
works, Reilly continued to challenge traditional concepts of illusionary
and pictorial space, executed within an abstract painting context.
Work from this extremely prolific period led to the inclusion of Reilly's
paintings in numerous corporate and private collections and major
public art commissions. |
